Eminem announces 'Marshall Mathers LP 2', confirms release date

Last night's MTV Video Music Awards was notable for a variety of reasons, not the least of which was a secretive announcement from rapper Eminem.

In what, at first, looked like a series of commercials for Beats by Dre headphones, Eminem officially revealed his new album, "Marshall Mathers LP 2."

In addition, Eminem announced the release date for the record. "Marshall Mathers LP 2" will be in stores November 5.

But the reveals didn't stop there, as the ads served as an announcement for an upcoming single, titled "Berzerk", which will be out Tuesday (August 27). It's the second song from the new album that Eminem has released so far, after "Survival" was confirmed for the "Call of Duty: Ghosts" soundtrack.
