Emily Middlemas sings 'Story of My Life' on The X Factor UK 2014 (VIDEO)

Emily Middlemas sang 'Story of My Life' on The X Factor UK 2014 Judges' Houses.

I generally like Emily, but this didn't do much for me. I miss the Emily of the first audition, the girl with the quirky style and the lilting voice. That Emily was unique. This one, not so much. Still, I see loads of potential in her, since she's quite a good singer and has a great look, to say nothing of her winning personality. I'd like to see her continue, especially because I think she's the type of contestant who will only grow more and become more impressive as the weeks roll on. There's still a lot we haven't seen from Emily, and I'd like to see that potential realized.

But what do you think of Emily Middlemas?

RESULT

EMILY MIDDLEMAS does not advance to Live Shows.

I don't agree with this result at all, as I think Emily could have been a real dark horse contender, another Diana Vickers. Hopefully, Emily gets to come back someday.
