Emily James and Teddy Coffey dance Contemporary on So You Think You Can Dance 11 (VIDEO)
Emily James and Teddy Coffey danced Contemporary on So You Think You Can Dance 11 on Wednesday, July 16, 2014.
Tyce Diorio was the choreographer.
Music was "Ne Me Quitte Pas" by Nina Simone.
The judges were impressed with this couple, specially with the French lyrics of the song and how they were able to express that in their dance.
"You body speaks French (Emily)," said guest judge Misty Copeland. "I want you to dance like you are barefoot. Teddy I am fan."
"It's very interesting how Tyce used a couple of lifts there that was almost ugly," said head judge Nigel Lythgoe. "The beauty of the art of dance is that you can get really close to the human spirit."
"Emily there isn't anything you can't do," said judge Mary Murphy.
