Emerson College in Boston will be renaming its school of communication after fictional anchorman Ron Burgundy for one day. For reasons.
On December 4 the school will be temporarily renamed to the Ron Burgundy School of Communication and that is both amazing and horrifying all at the same time.
Then Ron Burgundy himself (Will Ferrell, in character of course) will arrive for a news conference, the renaming ceremony and to screen Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues.
President of Emerson, Lee Pelton said in a statement that Burgundy, "understands the power of media, as well as hairspray, firsthand."
To which Burgundy replied that he hopes to teach students that the journey to the top is a difficult one, "especially if you don't have good hair."
You stay classy Boston.
