Emerson Hart - The Best That I Can Give - MP3 Premiere

Emerson Hart, of alternative rock band Tonic, has just released a brand new single, 'The Best That I Can Give' today (January 7).

The track comes from his sophomore solo album, Beauty In Disrepair, which is set for release this Spring. It's the follow-up to 2007's Cigarettes & Gasoline, with David Hodges (the former Evanescence guitarist who has worked with the likes of Kelly Clarkson, Avril Lavigne and Carrie Underwood) producing as well as co-writing the lead single with Emerson and Jess Cates.

The song is about Emerson's wife of 15 months, but during the 4 years that they dated he apparently almost blew it, and this is the goodbye song that went with that. Luckily everything worked out between them, but it did create a great song.

You can listen to the track here, as it's currently not available for embedding.
