Elliott Yamin on The Sauce

It's a great day when two of my favorite American Idols are on TV at the same time!

Super-hottie Jared Cotter interviews Elliott Yamin on The Sauce

I had an appointment near the Fuse studios today so I decided to drop by and see if fans came to meet Elliott Yamin. First I walked up to the guard to ask how I can get into the Fuse studios. He then asked: "Are you a star?" "No." "Then you need someone to bring you in there." That was a pretty ridiculous exchange right there. I should have said yes I am star, right? Just to get a reaction. Anyway, I just went to the viewing window where some fans were gathering.

I overheard that they were waiting for Elliott, so like a seagull waiting on the dolphins to come and bubble-net the school of sardines to the surface (hahaha, Discovery HD is awesome!), I waited. At about 6:25 Elliott emerged from the building! He spent a few minutes posing for pictures with the fans, and then I bravely went to Elliott and asked if he could greet my good friend Maya on camera. Unfortunately, he started speaking before my camera started so I only caught the tail-end -- but the greeting was for you Maya! (Incentive if I ever see Elliott again.)

So I got my video and walked away, but then I was suddenly stopped by this lady who introduced herself as Carolyn. She said: "Are you Rickey? There must be something going on if you're here. Is Sanjaya here?" And then I point to the direction of Elliott a couple of feet away and say "Elliott Yamin's here. Go get his picture." Hahaha. She ran up to him and came back to me. Carolyn said she was a fan of the blog and she reads everyday. She loved the Danny Tidwell / Nick Lazzarini sandwich pic. She even took a picture of me on her cellphone! Awesome. In my excitement I forgot to take a picture with Carolyn, but I will always remember her as she renewed my faith in the human race. Hahaha. Thanks Carolyn! You rock!

I then went downtown to buy comics with a smile on my face.
