Ellie Goulding and Zedd Will Perform at the MTV Movie Awards 2014

Although Divergent didn't come out in time to compete with the other nominees for the MTV Movie Awards for 2014, the film will still be represented at the ceremony, primarily by two musical performers who will be offering up tunes from the soundtrack.

Ellie Goulding and Zedd will both hit the stage at the MTV Movie Awards to perform separate songs from the soundtrack to Divergent. Goulding will perform her new single, “Beating Heart,” while Zedd will perform his new single, “Find You.” No word on if there will be any other musical guests added to the show, but given we're a little more than a week away from the big ceremony, I'm leaning towards these two acts being it. And hey, nothing wrong with that. They're both immensely talented.

The MTV Movie Awards 2014, scheduled to be hosted by Conan O’Brien, will air on Sunday, April 13 at 9:00 PM on MTV, which puts it up against some big competition. Not only is it the season premiere of Mad Men, but it's also the premiere of what is rumored to be a monumental episode of Game of Thrones. An episode said to be penned by George R.R. Martin himself. Should be interesting to see what kind of ratings numbers this does. At the very least, we'll be getting some interesting performances out of it.
