Ellen DeGeneres - Oscars 2014 - Opening Monologue

By Rickey ·

Ellen DeGeneres was the host of the 86th Academy Awards Oscars 2014.

Ellen hosted seven years ago.

A lot of good-natured jokes and a solid delivery from Ellen which is a relief after a few years of host struggles on Oscar night. Ellen made me feel "at home" watching as she chided some of the stars like Jennifer Lawrence, Meryl Streep, Jared Leto and even Liza Minnelli!

That was too easy. When Liza herself looks like an impersonator that is just dying for a joke viewed by millions. I had to check if that was really her! It was!
