Elisabeth Hasselbeck Explains Feud With Rosie O'Donnell

After news hit that Elisabeth Hasselbeck was furious about Rosie O'Donnell returning to The View, Hasselbeck found herself on the defensive. But now, the former View co-host is defending herself...on Instagram, of all places.

In a note posted to her Instagram account, Hasselbeck prefaces her defense by writing, “I don’t hate Rosie,” before going on to detail exactly why she hates Rosie.

“I actually called to talk to her 7 years ago. She did not want to speak to me,” Hasselbeck writes. “I am happy to have a #momversation about why I would never defend her 2007 comments below.”

She then offers an excerpt of O’Donnell’s comments regarding Iraq, which I'm sure won't escalate the situation at all.

That said, Hasselbeck states that this has all been blown out of proportion anyway, since she was really only offering her "analysis" concerning O'Donnell rejoining the show because she was asked about it.

“When the next two chairs get filled. if asked. I will provide my analysis,” Hasselbeck states, because apparently there's no longer such thing as "no comment".
