Eileen Davidson returning to 'Days of Our Lives'

Eileen Davidson returning to 'Days of Our Lives'
After exiting the soap last year, Eileen Davidson is returning to her acclaimed role of Kristen DiMera on Days of Our Lives.

Davidson, who also makes appearances as Ashley Abbott on The Young and the Restless, is returning for a "powerful story arc" for her character. She quit DAYS earlier in July, citing that she needed personal time.

This is very good news for DAYS, who just recently lost uber popular veteran actress Alison Sweeney, but has gained One Life to Live alum Kassie DePaiva.

Davidson begins shooting in March and her new scenes will first air this summer.
