Ed Sheeran Serenaded 15-Year-Old Fan Moments Before She Died

Get ready for your daily cry because over the weekend Ed Sheeran sang his song "Little Bird" to a 15-year-old fan dying of cystic fibrosis.

The singer and Triona Priestley were brought together with the Twitter hashtag campaign #SongForTri, which caught Sheeran's attention.

"Triona slipped into a sleep as Ed was singing to her and passed away shortly afterwards," Priestley's brother Colm explained to the Irish Independent. "So Ed Sheeran sang her to sleep."

He continued, "Myself and my family would like to thank Ed Sheeran and everyone who started and supported the #SongForTri campaign."
