Dwayne Johnson teases 'Shazam' Movie (VIDEO)

Dwayne Johnson teased that he will play Shazam in an upcoming DC Comics movie in an interview with Total Film.

"There's a character we're going announce very soon that I am going to play," the Hercules actor said. "The power of Superman... and it's not Green Lantern... He could throw down... just say the word."

Those were pretty compelling clues. Shazam formerly known as Captain Marvel does have similar powers to Superman and... he just says "the word", which is "Shazam!" to transform from skinny kid Billy Batson into Earth's Mightiest Mortal.

I'm actually looking forward to this and the official announcement. Dwayne Johnson would make a great Shazam.

The actor also known as wrestling's "The Rock" is currently promoting his new movie Hercules with comes out July 25, 2014.
