Drop Dead Diva is hardly a year into its current revival, following its cancellation at the end of season four. Yet it's already proving to be more resilient than ever.

Lifetime has renewed the legal dramedy for a sixth season of thirteen episodes. The show, focusing on a shallow model who is killed in an accident and finds her soul placed into the body of a plus-sized attorney named Jane, is currently airing the back half of its fifth season. The season finale is set to air on Nov. 3 and will feature a surprise visitor from Jane’s past who puts her relationship with Grayson (Jackson Hurst) in jeopardy.

Season 6 of Drop Dead Diva will air in 2014 on Lifetime.
