Dr. Drew Reveals Battle With Prostate Cancer

Dr. Drew Pinsky is well-known for his work in the field of psychology and mental health. However, it's a matter of physical health that has the former Celebrity Rehab personality suddenly back in the news.

Pinsky, currently the host of HLN's Dr. Drew on Call, says he had his prostate removed earlier this year after discovering he had cancer. The TV personality wrote on HLN's official website that he returned to work only 10 days after having a robotic prostatectomy in July.

Pinsky says he’s now cancer-free, but states his decision to announce his condition is aimed towards raising prostate cancer awareness among men.
