'Downton Abbey' Star Lesley Nicol Joins 'Raising Hope'

If you find the comedic stylings of Downton Abbey's Mrs. Patmore, then you might be excited to learn that her talents will be featured on a show that's more overtly comedic.

Lesley Nicol has signed on to guest star in an upcoming episode of FOX's Raising Hope. She will play the role of Eleanor the former maid of Nana (Tippi Hedren). The plot features Eleanor returning to fulfill her contract after major surgery sidelined her for a time. Nicol will appear in the nineteenth episode of the season, set to air later this spring.

Raising Hope airs Fridays at 9:00 PM ET on FOX, while Downton Abbey airs Sundays at 9:00 PM ET on PBS.
