Domestic Idol

I have been doing manly stuff over the past few days. In fact, I was painting the walls last week minutes before I taped an American Idol episode. I thought that was a trip. I was also painting with my Bice t-shirt, a working shirt for the hard-working man.
Anyways, I am almost done with moving my stuff into the bigger room, the last pieces being all my electronic gear. I think I should be planning it a bit more because of all the wires, but since I'm too tired and just want to get things done, I will leave it up to fate. In Tagalog, the expression is called bahala na -- where one just blindly does things just to get it done, and will have to deal with the consequences later. I hope it still goes smoothly though.
Aside from the aforementioned painting -- I did some white "trim" as well, I have been assembling shelves, throwing garbage, moving very large pieces of junk that my a**hole ex-roommate left in the apartment, cleaning the entire apartment (bleach is my friend), looking for a new roommate (we found someone great!) and visiting the Container Store. Haha. I love the Container Store. I bought these large transparent plastic boxes and they are amazing! All my toys fit in there and it looks so neat.
Finally, my wooden blinds just arrived yesterday so I'm going to have to drill some holes in the wall later. Ah, yes, very manly and very domestic. Soooo stressful though.
