Does David Archuleta Have an Overbearing "Stage Dad"?

ET Online is reporting that David Archuleta may be feeling the pressure from his "stage father" Jeff Archuleta, who reportedly yelled at David during a recording session last Monday. Sources say Dad wasn't happy with his son's singing -- and even brought him to tears.

What? Oh poor David Archuleta!

It turns out I am not familiar with the rules of Star Search. David Archuleta was one of the champions, and then eventually lost in the battle of the junior champions. Jeff Archuleta was reported to have been banned on the show after harassing the eventual winner 10-year-old Tiffany Evans. (Who friggin' harasses a 10-year-old???) More details here.
