DMX Arrested for Driving With Suspended License

Rapper DMX was arrested yesterday (Nov. 4) outside a South Carolina airport for driving with a suspended license and without vehicle tags or insurance. Womp womp.

According to a dispatcher, DMX was taken in and later released on a $1,335 bond.

"He was arrested on minor traffic charges and spent only three hours in jail," his spokesman added. "This short arrest will not affect any of his upcoming concerts." In fact, DMX still has plans to perform tomorrow.

This encounter with the law isn't particularly surprising, DMX was also arrested in South Carolina in August for possession of marijuana two days before he was expecting to show up in court to face drunk driving charges.

An arrest was also made in July for suspicion of driving under the influence and not having a valid driver's license. And that's just this year.
