Division Series Playoffs

The New York Yankees season has ended. Last night, the TV people in NY were saying that the Yankees were beat fair and square by the surprising game of Kenny Rogers but I refused to accept that reasoning. Today the Yankees emphatically proved my feelings from yesterday: they simply suck. A-Rod: 1-of-14 in 4 games. That one hit totally meaningless after the Yanks scored 5 runs in Game 1. And Sheffield playing First Base? One error today. All the Yankees are supposed to have is hitting, since for the nth year now, their pitchers have sucked. Jared Wright lasted only 3 innings, it was so pathetic. When none of them can hit for a second game in a row, it's like watching overpaid bystanders. It's so embarassing to watch this team -- break it up. Trade A-Rod for some young pitchers, young prospects.

The Amazin' New York Mets sweep the LA Dodgers in Los Angeles. Game 1 of the NLCS will be this Wednesday at Shea Stadium of course. Go Mets!
