The competition for the silver and bronze medals was very tight, coming down to the final round of dives, however the gold medal was a one woman race.  China's Chen Ruolin outclassed the rest of the field to the point that she could have just about done a cannonball for her final dive and still won.  Brittany Broben of Australia turned in a fantastic final round dive to win silver.  Pandelela Rinong Pamg of Malaysia just snuck in to get the bronze.

Results:

Gold: Chen Ruolin - China

Silver: Brittany Broben - Australia

Bronze: Pandelela Rinong Pamg - Malaysia
