Dierks Bentley Announces 'Riser' Tour By Hacking CMT's Twitter

Yes, you read that right. Dierks Bentley began this morning by taking to CMT's official Twitter, which was apparently left logged on (although as time progressed it did seem decidedly calculated, with various CMT personalities tweeting etc).

After taking a cheeky selfie and tweeting a couple of fans, Dierks got down to business: he had an announcement to make. It turns out he's the latest country artist to announce his 2014 tour plans, and the Riser tour is sure to please fans immensely. Accompanied by the February 25 release of Dierks' long-awaited seventh studio album of the same name, the Riser tour will feature Jon Pardi (whose debut album Write You A Song hit stores yesterday) Chase Rice and Chris Young.

Dierks announced Jon's involvement in the tour by posting this Instagram video of him performing the latter's hit 'Up All Night' acoustically. You can watch the short clip here. Jon responded to Dierks Twitter antics by tweeting "This is hilarious. Can't wait man! I'm ready now", adding to fans' enjoyment of the spectacle. Dierks also posted a video with the same band covering Chase's debut hit 'Ready Set Roll', which can be seen here, which had Chase responding "Couldn't be talkin' about me could you Dierks??? ;)". Finally, the Chris Young news was announced with a cover of his 2011 hit 'Neon', here, and Chris replied "Can't wait to hit the road with you brother!"

Dates are yet to be announced, but we will update here when they are. Watch this space!
