Diddy Offers $200 Million To Buy Fuse

Sean “Diddy” Combs is apparently looking to get further into the TV business.
The rapper/mogul, who launched the Revolt TV channel in October 2013, has reportedly offered $200 million to buy the Fuse network.
Fuse, a digital cable and satellite TV network committed mostly to music, would be converted into Diddy's cable-music network, assuming the rapper's bid is successful. By purchasing a more established cable channel, Diddy would be able to secure wider distribution and higher subscription fees for Revolt.
“As we have stated, we are exploring strategic alternatives for Fuse, and will have no further comment during what is still an ongoing process,” said Kimberly Kerns, a spokeswoman for the Madison Square Garden Co., which currently owns Fuse.
Hopefully, Diddy can get the channel away from the obnoxious tendency to just marathon the music videos of one artist for half the damn day. More live music specials like in the earlier days of the network could do wonders for its reputation.
