Did Danny Gokey cross the line during the $6000 cake fight with Allison?

Danny Gokey, Matt Giraud and Allison Iraheta were involved in a cake fight in the kitchen over the weekend.

To be honest I was shocked when Gabe showed me these screencaps.

Danny openly questioned on live television why American Idol couldn't afford to pay the $6000 clean-up bill. (Ummmm... because it was a joke and not to be taken seriously?)

And then he made this incoherent rambling when Ryan Seacrest asked him a question about what Simon Cowell said to him a week prior.
