Dermot O'Leary to quit The X Factor for The Voice?

I just love love love how The Voice is putting a dent on The X Factor in both sides of the Atlantic.

BBC is currently courting Cheryl Cole to be a coach on The Voice, but they are also trying to get The X Factor host Dermont O'Leary to jump ship! Yes! That would be so good. At the very least I hope BBC or ITV ends up paying Dermot a lot more money for his services because he's so worth it!

From STV:

The BBC are reportedly keen to poach X Factor host Dermot O’Leary for their rival singing show The Voice.

Cheryl Cole is already rumoured to be getting lined up for a spot on the judging panel after her X Factor USA axe, so it would be a cosy reunion for the pair if Dermot did decide to move.

According to an insider quoted in new! magazine, BBC boss Danny Cohen is a big fan of Dermot’s easy presenting style and is “desperate” to persuade him to join the team on The Voice.

And if he did decide to move to the rival broadcaster, there are whisperings that Dermot could be lined up for a lot more presenting jobs, including covering the London 2012 Olympics.
