Derek Hough returns to Dancing with the Stars

After missing last season to film a dance movie called Cobu 3D, Derek Hough is returning to Dancing with the Stars!

He told PEOPLE:

"When we're doing the show we're in the bubble and we get into the stress and the drama and all of the behind the scenes stuff," Hough says. "It was good for me to take a season off and see what he audience sees. It gave me a new boost and inspiration to want to do some great things."

The cast of the next season of Dancing with the Stars will be announced on August 29 during the Bachelor Pad and the new season kicks off on September 19. I'm so excited! I love DWTS. I love Derek Hough!
