Derek Hough in talks for U.S. X Factor choreographer

Omigosh! This is so exciting! Cheryl Cole and Derek Hough could be working together next Fall on The X Factor.

Derek would have to quit Dancing with the Stars though.

Simon Cowell has reportedly offered Derek Hough a position on the US version of The X Factor.

Taking the job as choreographer would see him quit his role on ABC's Dancing With The Stars, The Sun reports.

"He is in discussions for the job," a source told the paper. "Taking it would mean [Cole and Hough] could be together at home and work."
