Dennis Rodman enters rehab

Dennis Rodman, the former NBA star who made headlines as a supporter of the North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un in recent days, has entered rehab for alcohol.

He should have done this weeks ago and spared all of us the hassle of covering his hijinks. He was even drunk for an interview with CNN.

TMZ reports that the treatment will last 30 days.

Rodman entered rehab back in 2008 and 2009 and was on the reality show Celebrity Rehab season 3.

Sources connected to Rodman tell us the 52-year old basketball Hall of Famer checked into a treatment center a few days ago in New Jersey ... on the heels of his disastrous trip to North Korea.

We're told Rodman is "beyond exhausted and overwhelmed" ... and he will be in treatment for 30 days.
