Demi Lovato nearing deal to join 'Glee' Season 5 - Report

Demi Lovato is headed back to TV. The X Factor judge and and former Disney belle is nearing a deal to appear in a six-episode arc on FOX's Glee.
TV Line is exclusively reporting that the "Made in the U.S.A." singer, Lovato is poised to play Dani, a "NYC-based struggling artist friend of Rachel and Santana’s. She will also interact frequently with Adam Lambert’s incoming character, and the pair will have several musical numbers together." The deal calls for her to appear in at least six episodes, beginning with the second part of the show's The Beatles tribute on October 3rd.
This will be Lovato's first major acting role since starring in her own show, Sonny with a Chance, on Disney.
