Demi Lovato is reportedly leaving The X Factor after this season finishes up. People is reporting that Demi is looking to focus more on her music career and the schedule for the reality singing competition is too tight.

"She had a great run and a good time," says the source. But the show's demanding schedule conflicts with the singer's plans for 2014.

Demi has served as a judge for the past two seasons. It's not very surprising seeing as Demi has been releasing hit singles and having fun with her guest role on Glee.

There has been no official confirmation that The X Factor USA is even returning for a fourth season after ratings plummeted. It's not yet clear what Simon Cowell has up his sleeve to help revive the series.

Is there another superstar judge that could save the series if it returns for a new season?
