Demi Lovato Asks Fans to Stop Sending Kathy Griffin Death Threats
An epic feud between Kathy Griffin and Demi Lovato was brewing on the internet, but Demi shut it down before it even got started when her fans decide to wish death upon Griffin.
It all started when Kathy Griffin was asked who the biggest celebrity douche she ever met was.
To which she replied:

That's when all the death threats started from Lovato fans, which Griffin retweeted with comments, tagging Demi to make sure she saw them.
Said death threats looked a little something like this:

Wow. Griffin would go on to explain to her own fans:

At which point Demi swooped in to apologize to Griffin and berate her fans for treating another human being in such a distasteful way.
As she wrote:I love you guys so much but y'all gotta chill with sending hate towards other people. Regardless of what they say or do.. The cruel things some of you are saying can really, REALLY hurt people. It's called cyber-bullying and somethings should NEVER be wished upon EVER. No matter WHAT. It makes me so sad to see how mean people can really be after all I've spoken out about anti-bullying. Be an example for other haters. I know my #Lovatics are better than that. I really appreciate you guys always having my back but this is going way too far. Please spread [peace] not hate…. =( =( =(And just like that the Great Demi/Griffin Feud of 2014 is over. If it's taught us anything, it's that Twitter really needs to consider violent death threats against its terms of service.
