Degrassi: Now or Never - Should Have Said No Part 2 - Recap

After confessing to his family how terrified he is to stay at Degrassi, his parents consider a move to Boston. Adam is pissed because he finally has friends and a life at this school and just thinks Drew is in denial about having Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. While he may, I think Adam is handling this very poorly and not supporting his brother at all. I don't think therapy is going to change the fact there's a gang that wants him. Drew tries to distract himself and get things back to normal by going on a date. He panics early on when he sees a black guy in a hoody and thinks the gang members have finally found him. He follows him and realizes it's Julian who is on his way to practice defense fighting with Owen. This is hot. Drew is impressed and asks for some lessons so he can defend himself. I am all for this storyline if only because it has Drew taking his shirt off. Drew is now spending his time getting amped up watching UFC and punching holes in his walls. Why do I think he's going to be looking for trouble now and getting overly confident.
Clare is still adjusting to the whole casual dating thing. It's made more difficult by the fact that she obviously has feelings for Jake. While waiting for him, Clare discovers her parents divorce papers and the reason for their separation. Clare's dad cheated on her mom multiple times. This makes Clare realize how badly you can get hurt in a relationship so she ends it with Jake. She wants to keep things strictly casual from now on and tries to see other guys. Blah blah it doesn't work out and she can't stop staring at Jake. They reach an understanding and are back together. The two are thrown for a loop when their parents announce that they too are dating each other. Awkward.
