Degrassi: Now or Never - Should Have Said No Part 1 - Recap

Clare is struggling against her new feelings for Jake. She's not interested in another relationship after Eli and it isn't helping her when Jake is constantly walking around her house shirtless and sweating. It's not long before the two of them are ignoring pizza and engaging in a super awkward makeout session on her bed. Remember when she thought boys were gross and unnecessary? Her hormones are overruling her emotions.

Clare decides to just go for it with Jake after she sees Eli talking to that nutbag Imogen. She leaves him a note on his car inviting him to have some "fun" with her. She regrets it immediately when she learns he's going on a date with Katie. Jake tells her since his parent's divorce, he's just not that into relationships. He likes to keep it Cas' and tries to convince her there's nothing wrong with just making out. That's not for Clare until she catches her mom coming home from a date tipsy at 4 am. What happens to those Christian values when you get divorced? They just go out the window? Seems kind of hypocritical to me. It's all Clare needs to convince herself that being a casual dater with Jake is perfectly alright.

Drew is back at school after being attacked by the gang. He's not an easy transition and he's acting out violently and loudly. He knocks his friend to the ground and freaks out when a cop shows up at school. Lulz. This plot is horrible. Drew is probably suffering from "Sudden Rage" or PTD. Adam googled it so it's a fact. AKA this is probably the issue of the episode that Drew will probably get over in a week. Remember when Toby had bulimia? Yeah, me neither. Drew confesses to his mom that he's terrified and wants to move and get the hell out of town. She suggests therapy instead. Don't worry Drew. You'll be fine in about a week. Or you'll be killed next to a car in a puddle of pee. Either one.
