Degrassi: Now or Never - Extraordinary Machine Part 2 - Recap

Anya announces to her mother that she wants to join the army. She applies and is all stoked to be heading to Afghanistan. Really? Can't they give her an office job or something. I can't see her doing battle. Anya's stupidity reigns supreme after she applies and fails the drug test. Really? You couldn't wait a couple days for the drugs to leave your system before you applied to the ARMY? And isn't she still in school? Why wouldn't she wait until she graduates? It may have been the wake up call she needed. Her mom finds the drugs in her necklace and confronts her about it. Anya isn't giving up and will take the longer, harder route to get herself into the army. Will she ditch the cocaine just like that?
Eli is seeing "clearly." His new plan of action is to get Jake "out of his way." Then Clare will totally want him back. Eli wants to plant his meds in Jake's bag and then plant an anonymous tip that he's selling drugs to get him expelled. Shockingly, Imogen is the voice of reason here and wants Eli to take his pills. Eli ignores her and just goes on and on about how you can't be with someone when there's someone in between. Meaning Jake. Imogen applies this logic to Clare and offers to plant the drugs for him. She instead puts the drugs in Clare's bag so she is the one who gets caught.
Eli snaps at her and tells her she is nothing to him. He then goes to Mr. Simpson to save the day and take responsibility for the pills in Clare's bag. She is less than grateful and tells him that they will never get back together. The night of the play arrives and Imogen is nowhere to be found. Fiona takes her place in the play and tries to get a crushed Eli through it. He forgets his lines and can't muster up the energy to go along with the script. He flips out on stage and goes on a rant about how life doesn't have happy endings. Then he sets the script on fire. The crowd thinks that this is the play's twist ending and applaud him. With the help of his father, Eli wants to get better.
Oh yeah and KC and Jenna gave the baby up for adoption but..no one cares.
