Degrassi: Now or Never - Dead and Gone Part 2 - Recap

Prom night has arrived and with it we say goodbye to the second generation cast of..the second generation of Degrassi. Couples are trying to enjoy one last night together before summer. Riley and Zane reach an understanding and we're told they've gotten into the same college. Their happy ending, assuming we'll never see this cast again, is implied. Jake tells his dad that he and Clare mature enough for a relationship but once he gets to the dance he breaks it off with her. That was kind of random and out of nowhere but it gives the Eclare shippers something to look forward to. Sav creates a romantic date for Miss O. back at Degrassi but things are interrupted when chaos breaks out at the dance.

Drew buys Bianca a ticket to prom so she can get away from the stress in her life. Katie is pissed that she's around because she brings violence with her wherever she goes. In this instance, Katie is right. Vince shows up to take Bianca away and Drew has had enough. He takes off his jacket and kicks Vince's ass. Not to be humiliated, Vince retaliates by whipping out a gun. He shoots.

Adam has been shot. In the shoulder so it's not life threatening or anything. Hmm. Is it weird I'm disappointed? I thought this was gonna be like JT 2.0 or something. Bianca grabs the gun and leaves with the intent to finally end everything by killing Vince. Drew follows her and convinces her that going to the police and confessing everything she knows to them. Even if it means she goes down for selling drugs, the violence would stop.
