Dean Ray sings 'Stolen Dance' on The X Factor Australia 2014 (VIDEO)

Dean Ray sang 'Stolen Dance' on The X Factor Australia 2014 Top 7 Show on September 21, 2014.

I don't know why the judges felt this was so far outside Dean's wheelhouse, particularly after he did something similarly low-key and live lounge-esque with 'Budapest'. This was a perfect song choice for Dean, as it fit right into that "swaggering acoustic guitarist" persona he uses when he isn't doing a straight-up rock song. The vocal wasn't perfect, but I really admired his interpretation of the song, as Dean is really something special. He's one artist in the competition who's never had to compromise, and it's made him a true contender.

But what do you think of Dean Ray?
