De La Soul's New Album on Kickstarter Doubles Goal in One Day

De La Soul is funding their first album in 11 years via Kickstarter and they doubled their goal in a day. So far Damon Albarn (of Blur/Gorillaz), 2 Chainz, Little Dragon, and David Byrne (of Talking Heads) have been announced as collaborators.

The untitled album was announced on Monday with a funding goal of $110,000 and by Tuesday afternoon, it has already doubled that amount in pledges.

Check out their Kickstarter if you want to part of their latest effort.

I think they will be adding more rewards as there are 31 days more to go for the funding effort.
