Rounding out our American Idol auditions in Chicago posts is the inexplicable selection of David Hoover into Hollywood. I'm trying to keep my expectation low at the kind of mayhem he will inflict on the other contestants in Hollywood, but I'm still interested at how this plays out. Blatant stunt-casting, but what can you do.

At the end of the show, they collected the worst of Chicago in a Lady Marmalade medley which includes extended coverage of tan-girl Crystal Parizanski.
