David Cook

(Here's the Cookey Report from our cellcaster John! John did a great job of getting us shoutouts from the bus yesterday and the cellcast in the evening. Plus he has some great pics for us. Everyone thank John! Woohoo!)

A bunch of us Cook fans showed up around 10am and found the tour buses. We waited and waited and waited until 6:30 but alas he was stuck in press all day.

The concert was fantastic. David is so comfortable on stage. He really seems to study what the crowd wants right down to pouring a bottle of water over his head and shaking it in the middle of Billie Jean (u think he's got his cougar demographic figured out?). For me though, it's the music. He rocked out Hello, Rainbow, whatever that other song is, Hero and Billie Jean. He leaves everything on the stage - no holding back. He always seems to change these songs up a little bit with every performance to keep them fresh. After the concert, he signed autographs for 500+ fans including me until about midnight. Can't wait for his solo tour.

I also have to mention that Carly was so beautiful and nice in person (not to mention she's a big rickey fan). Her performance of Evanescence's Bring me to Life was spellbinding.

All the fans I met were fantastic. All in all a great day.
