David Cook dropped by RCA Records
It's a sad day for David Cook fans. After the American Idol Top 3 results show tonight, May 10, 2012, Cook confirmed with The Hollywood Reporter's Shirley Halperin that he is no longer with RCA Records.
Tonight on the show, the Season 7 winner debuted a brand new single called "The Last Song I'll Write for You" -- which is self-released. Check out his performance.
What does this mean for his future?
Halperin tweeted out the news, saying:Wow, @thedavidcook just confirmed: he's without a record deal. New song is self-released and the road ahead is wide open...— shirleyhalperin (@shirleyhalperin) May 11, 2012
What do you guys think? Is he better off self-releasing his music?
