David Archuleta - WXLO Worcester Radio 2

Here's the Archey Report from Hannah in Worcester. Woohoo! We have 2 reports from WXLO that's awesome!

okay so I'm still spazzing about this!!! I was on the bus this morning and my dad called me to tell me that he had just been notified that I 'won' one of the spots to dine with david in worcester! I kind of freaked out and hyperventilated the entire day (and probably failed my math test).

But okay so I went and got there and basically no one was there! Like you would never have known that David was in that town. We entered the WXLO studio and only 4 people were standing there. We started standing with them and they told us that if we had tickets to go up to the 5th floor, so we did! and when we got there we saw like 20 ppl. It was all girls, one 4 year old guy, and there parents. All crowded around the elevator. We waited there for 20 minutes and then moved into this room where there were 50 chairs set up in rows.

We snatched a seat in the front row (reallyyy excited) but it turned out that he wasn't even going to be doing an interview. Aparently that's tomorrow or something. So we waited for another 20 minutes or so and they brought out pizza (which I didn't touch). Then JEFF entered and I got so excited... and a couple minutes later DAVID CAME IN!!!! I litterally spazzed. He sat down and saw me and smiled at me!! Then he went to a table and ppl started lining up to meet him. I was like the 3rd in line. My dad was taking pictures for me.

When it was my turn, I went up to the table and he smiled at me and said hello. (okay so I don't remember the exact conversation but it went something like this ):
I told him how much his music and singing meant to me, and how every song he sang affected me in a different way. He said "aww thanks". Then I asked him some random questions. I asked him if he had a dog, (which I already knew) and he said he had a mini poodle. I told him I had a mini poodle also. Then I asked him what color his dog was and he said brown, I said mine was grey. (Okay, yeah... I know. Fascinating!! BUt yeah I was kind of freaking out).
Then I asked him why he chose WYSYLM to sing because I loved that song so much. He said he loved Josh Groban and that was his favorite Josh Groban song. He mentioned another song that he liked (something with oe something). He spelled it for me but of course I forgot it like 2 seconds later. I'm not sure if that was what he would have sang instead or not.
Then he wrote my name on his picture he was giving out and asked how I spelled my name, and then when I told him, (Hannah... like Hauna), he asked where the name was from! And then I got 3 pics! And then at the end I asked if I could shake his hand (I didn't want to ask for a hug) and he did but then at the end he said that he could give me a hug! and he DID! AHHHH.

Okay so I said thank you and went and hyperventilated in a corner and then kept staring at him. I decided to talk to Jeff who was sitting on a couch. And we talked for like 15 minutes. Before we talked, he was talking to someone else and I couldn't hear it really but I did hear, "angels" "itunes" "single" "prerelease" but I couldn't pierce it all togethor. Something about an angels arrangment.
Then I talked to him about david being away from home for so long and he said that was the hardest part, because they haven't really been home since February. And I asked if David misses his mom and dog and he said it was probably harder on his mom and siblings then it was on David. He said it's hard, but David loves what he's doing and really feels like he belongs talking to ppl and stuff. My dad said some stuff to him and he said that parents could feel totally relaxed with David because he really follows his ideals ( something like that, I didn't really get it all, but basically that David was a good role model). I don't remember much else of what we talked about.

At the end ppl were leaving and I went back up to David and asked if he would talk to me friend who is a HUGEE Archie fan also. He said sure and talked to her for a couple seconds and then signed her an autograph.

Then like the best part... the radio was blasting and the song "I don't wanna be anything other then what I am..." (I still don't know the title of it) was playing. And david started singing to it and he saw I was staring at him and he was like "Oh sorry" and I was like, "!????" and then I said thank you and went to just go and watch him. The song kept playing and he kept singing to it! I was like spazzing out totally.

He opened some present someone gave him while he was singing and he got an angel that was praying (that looked really cute, it was a little doll) and some other candy and a letter which he immediately read. I thought that was really sweet.

And then they finally told us we had to go (we were the last ones there).
Needless to say... I'm still spazzing out about him!!! AHHHHHHH. So yeah, that was my first time meeting him!
