David Archuleta to sing 'America The Beautiful' at the U.S. Open

UPDATE: A little birdie told me: "Should be Sunday." (Messenger Rickey, out!)

David Archuleta will perform before the Men's Singles Final at the U.S. Open , which has now been moved to Monday at 4 PM, weather permitting.

However, since there has been no announcement if David will stay an extra day in New York, it is still possible that he will sing before the Women's Singles Final which has been re-scheduled for Sunday evening (or even before a Men's Semi-Final on Sunday for that matter).

Who knows, he may have appointments that he needs to keep on Monday somewhere else (changing plane tickets for example for his entire entourage can be costly -- and appointments are priceless), so let's not assume that since the U.S. Open has changed its schedule, David will follow. Let's be vigilant and see what happens.
