David Archuleta to become full time missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints

American Idol runner-up David Archuleta is giving up his music career and will become a full-time missionary of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

He made the announcement during the Salt Lake City stop of his My Kind of Christmas tour.

I am so shocked. I need to watch the Book of Mormon on Broadway. WTF is this?
