David Archuleta - "Heaven" - Hollywood Week - American Idol 7

Okay, aside from the merciless no holds barred pimping of David Archuleta this week, two notable things:

1. Randy Jackson doing his "You're just 16 and so talented" bit all over again. That was LOL.

2. That backup singer crying in the background while David Archuleta sang "Heaven" by Bryan Adams. Double LOL.

We are one of David Archuleta's strong supporters even if he is getting the extra push from American Idol. David Archuleta turned 17 last December and he's Idol's great hope to capture the High School Musical audience which is coveted by the entertainment industry right now. He's obviously going to appeal to the mothers as well -- and oh and yeah, he has the Mormon vote in the bag -- so look for Utah to work some Marie Osmond magic this year on American Idol.
