David Archuleta - Archey Report and Embrace the Enchilada - Long Island, NY - 08/05/08

Two days, Two awesome concerts, 5 autographs, and one major sunburn later, I am happy to say i have returned with a fantastic concert experience. The first day for some bizarre reason i decided to show up at 9 am with no sunscreen on. I paid a price. But it got much better later on as you guys saw when we sang Crush to David. It had started out when one of us started choreographing an interpretive dance to Crush. So of course we had to do it for him. I'm so grateful someone got his reaction on tape seein as i was too busy jamming and my camera probably wouldn't have been able to handle another Archie giggle. When they finally came out the crowd went nuts. It was Archie, Cook, Jason, Kristy and Brooke. All were super nice and i was able to get a picture with everyone but Archie. He seemed to be the most in demand and had to be in a rush. (what a russsssh. ok sorry couldn't resist.)
I was able to give David A, Jason, and Jeff Archuleta the gifts i had brought for them on the first day which i was really happy about. I got to meet Carly on Day 2 and that was awesome. Day 2 was insane. I went prepared with sunscreen this time and went out lookin for Archie again. When he came out he was in a rush but still really sweet. We told him we were the girls who sang to him the day before but he didn't remember. He asked what we sang and we told him Crush. He laughed and said "Oh how fun!" It was adorable. There was this evil inconspicuous hole in the ground by the barricades that a bunch of people seemed to be tripping over. I myself fell twice. David unfortunately didn't see it and tripped in it but thankfully used the barricade to steady himself. After that we took it upon ourselves to warn all the idols. We warned jason who informed us he "hit that hole last night" while Cook jumped in it on purpose. That was pretty funny. I also ended up calling Cook bosephus. He seemed to get a kick out of that one. I ran around to the other side to see David one more time and get him to autograph a newspaper article i had had saved since march when my obsession first began. The confused look on his face when he saw it made me laugh. After he signed it however the guy with him told him he had to leave and David looked visibly sad because he had only gotten to half the fans. He ran and gave the side he hadn't gotten to high fives.
The show itself was amazing. Day 1 was great but i have to say Day 2 was better. We had had not so great seats but were able to sneak down during intermission and got realllly close to the stage for jason, syesha and both davids. It was so awesome seeing them up that close. Yes, i did scream out for Archie to shake it during stand by me but..wouldn't you have?
After the show i went outside with the mob of people and was able to see Archie again. I yelled that i loved him and he said "aw thanks!" I was very content after that and started squeeing to any person who would listen.
