David Archuleta - Archey Report #3 - Los Angeles, CA

OKAY, here's my report:
Hi guys! the show last night was SO SO GOOD and DA was out of this world AMAAAAZING!
Preshow:
I got to Staples Center at around noon and there were so many people waiting already. There were A WHOLE LOT of Archies/Archeys/ArchAngels out there! At around 12:30, everyone met by the LA Convention Center to wait for the buses. Fan Blast came by a few minutes later and Phil-E was doing his thing w/the shout out. It was so much fun and hilarious because everyone was calling each other by screen names lol. At around 1pm, the buses arrived and we all went to the sidewalk to wave to them. When we were told that the boys were on Bus #3, everyone screamed so loud and called for Archie. We held up our posters and a giant banner-sized poster that says WELCOME ARCHIE. Someone in the tour bus got up and waved to us. I couldnt picture out who it was, but a lot of people said that it was DA. Then someone else got up and waved to us...it was definitely Jason bc we saw the bouncing dreadlocks. Then everyone rushed to the barricade but I didn't run fast enough so i couldn't get to the front. Chikezie came out first and he was really nice (actually, ALL of them were really nice). Then Brooke, Rami and Syesha came out and they are all very pretty in real life. After the 4 of them left, we were told that the rest of the idols would not be able to come out because they were busy with interviews and M&G. Someone said they might come out at 4:30 after M&G, so some of us decided to sit there and wait, hoping that David would come out. IT WAS BURNING HOT but it was a lot of fun bonding with everyone around. If you're planning on waiting for the buses, i suggest bring a hat, an umbrella, one of those battery-operated fans (someone had that yesterday...SMARTEST thing! lol), a towel, and whatever you can because you're gonna be reaaally gross and sticky after a few hours. My phone also got soaked from a bottle of water inside my bag (thank goodness I was holding one camera and the other one was in a waterproof bag pouch) so I asked Kristin to let Rickey know the bad news. I left it out in the sun to dry, and hoped that it would work again...and it did :D
The Show:
Staples Center let everyone in at around 6pm. REMEMBER, you can't bring sharpies inside (we had to run back to our cars bc of that), but you don't actually need sharpies bc the idols already have a few. I looked around the auditorium and I was so amazed at how many people were wearing white!!!!!! Anyway, Chikezie was the first performer and I think he did so great! I really like his version of the Kanye West "Hey Mama" song. Rami was next, then came MJ (VERY good too)....and you all know the order after that. I personally like Brooke and Carly's performances the best out of all the female contestants. After Brooke, #5-10 did a group song. During intermission, there was a Guitar Hero competition. Then they picked two little boys (they are BFFs hahah) from the crowd and had them do air guitar hero. One of the boys (i believe his name was Jason) had an Archie shirt on and we were screaming for him the entire time bc he was so good. He got on his knees and did all that like Archie in the commercial lol.
After intermission, Jason came out and I like his performances a lot. He sounded so good live, and the crowd was screaming real loud for Mr.Castro! Syesha came out next. At this time, I could see that some the Archies around us (including me) were having a temporary panic attack bc David's up next. I apologize bc I couldn't pay attention to Syesha's performances.
When David came out, the crowd was soooo unbelievably LOUD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He started with Angels on the piano from underneath the stage; it was another very beautiful version of Angels from David. I was so so impressed with Apologized...i don't think i can ever listen to OneRepublic's version again. SBM was very cute...you can totally feel the energy from the crowd during this song. He was having SO much fun on that stage!!!!!!! My jaw literally dropped when David started busting out dance moves!!!!!!!! HE WAS SO GOOD! Now I know exactly what everyone (who watched the spoilers) has been talking about!!!!! The last and the most breath-taking performance of the night in my opinion was WYSYLM. There was so much passion in WYSYLM that im sure we all know exactly why David chose to sing it to his fans. He put all his emotion into that song that it left me speechless; I don't think anyone could stop thinking about it afterward. The crowd was screaming so loud for David after WYSYLM, that I couldn't hear a word he said about Cook. We were screaming so much I think some of the people around us (non-archies) wanted to throw things at us lol but cmon how could you not scream your lungs out for David right? :)
Cook was also good and the crowd was loud for him too. After Cook, the idols did a group song with Don't Stop The Music. David was having a lot of fun on that stage tonight!!!! DAVID SOUNDS SO INCREDIBLE LIVE. If you like the recorded version on youtube, you'll DEFINITELY fall in love with his voice even more if you hear him sing live!!!!!!
Post-show:
Everyone rushed to the buses (where we were in the morning) because the idols were coming out after the after-party. My sister managed to fly over there (i don't know how she could run so fast!) and so we got a spot in the front. THERE WERE SOOO MANY PEOPLE! We waited until 12am and the idols began to come out. Kristy came out first...she was really nice and took pictures with people even though she wasn't supposed to haha. The idols were told not to take any pictures because there wasn't enough time. Cook came out next and he started signing autographs from our section, which was really cool because we were waiting forever for Kristy to come around to our side. Then came Carly....she was sooo nice and funny. After that, MJ came out and he was rushing with autographs because they were running out of time. And then I heard people SCREAMING so I knew it was either David or Jason...and it was DAVID!!!! We waited for like 2-3 minutes until he made it to our section, but then one of the guys screamed something like "Let's go TIME'S UP!!!!" and people from our section( including me!!) were screaming and panicking bc some of us literally waited all day for this!!! I would like to apoligize to RICKEY!!!!! I'm so so sorry i forgot to ask David for you!!!! I was holding my phone, the AI program for david to sign, a gift bag for him, my camera, and all i could think of was "OMGOODNESS THAT IS DAVID ARCHULETA!!!!!!" so i completely completely forgot! I am soo sorry Rickey! And i didnt know that you guys were all listening!!!! I thought Rickey was just recording the shoutout from David and posting it as an mp3 for you guys the next day! LOL i feel very embarrassed now bc i think i was histerically screaming! Anyway, all of this was soooo rushed that he didnt have time to talk to any of the fans like how they did it at the previous shows (no handstand competition awww). He managed to answer some of the questions from the fans as he was signing autographs. I told him that he was so amazing tonight and i think he said "awwwwww thank you!". He got to a few people after us and they woudlnt let him sign anymore. He turned and apologized to the rest of the people...i could tell that he felt sooo bad!!!!!!
OMGosh I wrote a huge novel! I hope eeryone who went yesterday had fun, and for the other lucky people who still have a concert to look forward to, have tons of fun at your show (i know you will) !!!!!!!!!!!
