David Archuleta - Archey Report #3 - Lexington, KY - 08/16/08
(Here's the Archey Report from Dominic4Archuleta from Lexington, KY! I'm here for David Archuleta!!!)
OMG where do I start!! Waiting outside the busses in Lexington was great. I finally met up with some friends from Rickey’s, which was really neat. I met up with Kristi: she is such a sweetheart, she is so cute and her accent I just adore lol. She is honestly exactly how she is on the computer, so caring and sweet and so innocent. She is really a wonderful person. John (Archie fanatic) he was really a nice guy, finally I had a MAD that understood my ODD lmao. John is really a cool guy and I’m glad to have met him, he is really a nice guy and a great fan of David. Jennifer: She was such a sweetheart to have met, so great and nice and so cute. Jen was filled with nothing but joy and laughter and she was all about her rickey friends and of course ARCHIE. Jen I was so happy to have met you, you are great girl. Beene: She is just so pretty and such a sweet and gentle woman, she is filled with nothing but love and happiness, she was DEF. here for Archie lol. I LOVED her reaction when David finally got to us she was in AWE, she didn’t know what to say and she was just LOVING it. I LUV YA BEENE and little beene was so cute. Anyway I got there at like 11 am and waited until about 2:30 before David finally came out. He was great and nice as always signing just DA because there was literally like 300 people there for the busses. A great crowd of people. Carly, Brooke, Kristi, Archie, Jason, and Cook were the ones that came out to the busses. Cook was only there for maybe 5-10 mins. and he had to leave. Anyway Archie came up to us (wish I had my video player on) and this girl Heather had crush playing on her phone, he heard it and started singing it and dancing to it, it was so funny and cute. He moved down a little bit to more fans and this lady about 60ish had CRUSH blaring in her car and he looked over to her car and was like OMG how cool is that and started singing it again and danced to it a little more. HE was too funny there. HE really loves and adores his fans so much. Anyway after that We all left for a bit.
Onto the show: I went to the Will call to get my after party passes that Jeff gave me, for some reason they didn’t have my name down on the list so I was freaking out lol. Finally they had to call Jeff personally to ask if I was on the list and he said Yes of course. SO they gave me my passes WOOHOO!!!
Chikeze: He definitely knows how to get the crowd going, he did a great job with his set, has done a lot better since american idol. Ramiele: she is just too cute, Her cousin passes away Friday the day before the Lexington concert so she dedicated her 2nd song to him and she really put so much heart and emotion into it I was literally in awe at how good she was on it. It really made me happy she did so well on that song, I was impressed big time. Michael Johns: He is one of the best performers on stage, his entire set is just amazing and so nice to hear, he knows how to work a crowd. Kristi lee Cook: she did pretty good, God Bless the USA was GREAT but her other 2 songs were not as good as in Cincinnati. Kristi is just so beautiful and HOT. Carly: She is one of my favorites, she can blow the roof off of that place with her voice, she has such a great and amazing voice that soars in any arena!! Brooke: I Love this girl, she is so sweet and amazing performer. Her set was GREAT, she is just so pretty and has a very unique voice, she was awesome tonight!! Jason: the crowd really did love him, he got some really loud screams, he did really good, he is a nice guy and I just wish he would do something more with his songs than what he does but that is only my opinion. Syesha: I really don’t like how she treats her fans and the other fans, BUT THIS GIRLCAN FLAT OUT SING!!! Her voice is so powerful, I always enjoy her set and her voice is just amazing. She really has an awesome voice, but her attitude just keeps me from liking her, I hate it because she is AMAZING but she needs to bond more with her fans. DAVID ARCHULETA: Where do I start, Angles: simply amazing, one of the best angles I have heard yet on tour. He changes it up every single time and the ending of the song is simply Incredible!!! Apologize: one of my favorite songs, He sings it so much better than one republic, I can only hear David singing it, his falsettos were simply amazing and spot on, his notes were FANTASTIC. Stand BY ME: the crowd went nuts, He sings this song with so much power along with having so much fun actually talking to his audience singing it to them, He did amazing on SBM. His falsetto at the end was Breath-Taking. WYSYLM: MY Favorite song of his set, was simply Breath-taking indeed. He hits every note with ease, hit’s the high notes with so much passion. He puts so much emotion into this song you can feel his emotions and feeling throughout this entire song. The CROWD LOVED DAVID SO MUCH so many screams it was deafening, This kid is absolutely Incredible to say the least, he never ever lets his fans down always puts his all into every song and he is just my hero!!!!! Cook: he knows how to get the crowd into every song on his set, the CROWD LOVED HIM too, they were also deafening. He did a great job on every song, I really did like Hello and TOML!! They were really great songs and he did really good.
The after party was great, I had 2 extra passes so I gave them to John and Lori because they were the first 2 I seen and they really are amazing people and I was happy to share my experience and the backstage experience with them. The After party was amazing. We all (Kristi, me, my sister in law, Lori, and John) went in first, it was so cool to be the first ones back and the last one out LMAO. We were just caught up in the moment. We mainly stayed next to David, He was simply awesome. I have to say all the idols were so nice and so much more intimate and passionate to their fans this time than in Cincinnati, it was great to see. We all got our pics with David and Kristi and Lori and John got pics with some of the other idols. David was just so nice and "sweet" to every single fan that asked for his picture and autograph, like I said before he loves and adores his fans. Cook was really great to his fans too, he really had a good time mingling with them all. Archie was trying to watch the Olympics lol but he couldn’t poor kid. He had so many fans in there for him and cook it was amazing. Poor Kristi was so nervous and so wanting to marry him right then and there I thought she was going to pass out or propose to him there. She kept asking for pictures which was so cute, she told him "this picture didn’t turn out right can I get another one with you" lol she knew how to work him LMAO. She was too cute back stage. But David did not hesitate one bit to give as many pics as anybody wanted. Kristi is just a nice person. Jeff finally came in looking around and saw me and waved to me so I went over to him and he apologized about the will call, and I told him don’t apologize I appreciate everything you do for me and all the fans. He is just such a nice guy and great. I talked to him for about 15 minutes about his Album and Crush and David s plans and stuff like that. He told me a lot of things which is very exciting to hear, TRUST ME his album will be AMAZING and sure to be a hit, IT WILL BE AWESOME!!!! So before Jeff left he gave me some great info and some personal info that I cant say but he is so great!!! Jeff is awesome to say the least. David was the last one to leave but I have to tell you the coolest thing besides the concert and seeing him sing live again and having him sign and talk to all of us. There was this one Handicapped girl in a wheelchair and she came over to David and said David I really think you are amazing and I am a huge fan of yours and David was like OMG really thank you so much and gave her a hug and got a picture with her and signed some things for her. He was so nice and so neat to her, I had tears in my eyes it was so sweet of him to do all that for her and make her FEEL SO MUCH BETTER!!! That was the highlight of the after party!!!!
In conclusion, sorry for the STORY lol but there was so much that happened this concert, I just had to say it all. Me Kristi, John, Lori (Kristi’s sister) and Amber (my sister in law) went to Denny’s for food after the concert which was so cool because we got to talk and bond with each other which I loved meeting them all. We were there for about an hour and a half talking with each other. John paid for all of our food which was so nice of him to do that, he really was a nice guy and I really was upset he wouldn’t let me pay but he insisted which was so generous of him. I had such an amazing time with them all and at the concert, it was so fun to meet them all, they were such wonderful and great individuals, they made my day to have been able to meet them. Kristi was just too cool and Sweet, I had a really good time with all of them and cannot wait to meet or see them all again. AMAZING NIGHT INDEED
