David Archuleta - American Idol 7 - Top 24 Party

David Archuleta at the American Idol 7 Top 24 launch party

David Archuleta won the Junior Singer category of the Arsenio Hall-hosted StarSearch when was 12-years-old in 2003. David Archuleta's most popular clip on YouTube is his rendition of "And I Am Telling You I'm Not Going" in front of Kelly Clarkson during Season One of American Idol. His voice has changed a lot since then -- lower now obviously -- and probably affected by the vocal paralysis he narrated during his audition.

David Archuleta is well-loved by Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul, Randy Jackson and young girls all over the world who can't wait to dial his number and vote. And since it is a known fact that I have the sensibilities of a little girl, I can't wait myself. David's chances of making Top 3 are quite high. It's like the Red Sea parting and David Archuleta walking in.

I'm also curious to see how the mysterious Mormon vote (or was it just her family?) which allegedly propelled Marie Osmond to the finals of Dancing with the Stars will affect David Archuleta.
