Dave Chappelle Angrily Addresses Hartford Walk-Off - Audio

In the wake of last week's controversy, in which Dave Chappelle stormed off the stage in Hartford, Connecticut after being heckled during his stand-up set on the Oddball Comedy Tour, the comic has already turned the incident into a part of his act.

During his latest stand-up performance, Tuesday in Chicago, Chappelle discussed his vitriol towards the city of Hartford for what he perceived to be a belligerent, disrespectful audience. Check out the video below via The Hollywood Reporter:

"I don't want anything bad to happen to the United States," the comedian said, "but if North Korea ever drops a nuclear bomb on this country, I swear to God I hope it lands in Hartford, Connecticut."

He went on to reference the famous incident in which Seinfeld alum Michael Richards used racial slurs against African-American audience members during a 2006 standup show.

"I wanted to pull a reverse Kramer and call 'em all crackers or something crazy like that," Chappelle said. "I know that s*** will be on YouTube. 'Funnyman Dave Chappelle calls a room full of white people "crackers." ' Couldn't do that. I felt bad when Kramer did that s*** to us."
