Danny Gokey - Gospel Music Channel

Christian / Gospel artist, worship leader and Vote for the Worst favorite Danny Gokey was featured on the Gospel Music Channel along with Phil Stacey, Melinda Doolittle, Mandisa and Chris Sligh.

The in-laws talked about Danny's wife at length -- almost the entire piece was about Danny's wife. Danny would trade his American Idol experience (which is what exactly?) to have her back. His in-laws explain that the foundation for Danny's wife is what drives him. And that Danny's run on American Idol is healing them (healing them of what exactly?)

So before the haters start exploding, let's just call a spade a spade: Danny Gokey's story always leads back to his wife. These are his in-laws. This is the story they want to get out there to the public: Danny is on American Idol because of his wife. He's on the show in his own words "because through him we can see his wife."
