Danny Gokey - from Christian Music to Country?
FOX 6 in Milwaukee reported that Danny Gokey is meeting soon with 19 and Sony Nashville.
Ah yes, the Phil Stacey route! After singing only two "country" songs on American Idol ("What Hurts the Most" and "Jesus Take the Wheel"), the next press release from the Danny Gokey camp might be: He's always been a country singer -- forget the R&B/Latin and my music is going to be a movement stuff he said after the show -- he's country. LOL
Of course, knowing how Phil Stacey fared -- he is now a Christian recording artist -- I think we know where all of this will eventually end up.
